Burnishing
Burnishing Machine AR20
The new AR20 burnishing machine is equipped with a new modular loading system, a new highly precise CNC PLC and a digital positioning assistance for more comfort during set-up and use.
The four CNC axes operate simultaneously up to twenty-four seats (twelve seats per side). The burnishing operation can be used for mechanical (part hardening) but also for cosmetic purposes (improvement of the visual surface aspect).
The part reference socket is carried out in "touching" mode, which saves a significant amount of time during set-up.
- Accuracy: +/- 1 μm
- Digital positioning assistance
- New Computer Numerical Control (CNC)
- Multiple loading systems available (round disc mounts)
- Manual loading or in combination with vibrating bowl | robot
Burnishing Machine AR20
Born from a strategic collaboration between AdTime SA and the Engineering Division of the Haute École Arc (HE-Arc) – with the support of Innosuisse, Roulint® marks a breakthrough in micro-component machining. This incremental innovation, integrated into the AR20 Burnishing Machine, introduces the automatic tool material detection (DOM) for truly adaptive burnishing.
Unlike traditional processes, Roulint® adjusts parameters in real time, ensuring maintained dimensions and unaltered precision regardless of initial turning variations. It is an "on-demand burnishing" solution that pushes the boundaries of numerical control.
Position of the Z axis during contact detection (measure perfomed on a mount with compliance), 48 V motors, no regulation (optimum configuration for the DOM).
